The academy and participants are registered with USA Rugby, the Tennessee Rugby Association and the Smoky Mountain Athletic Club.

To participate, players must complete the 4 registration steps below. Only once all these steps are completed can they participate in competitions. Typically, rugby occurs year round with seasons in the Spring, Summer, and Fall. Fall consists of Olympic Style 7’s which is a high paced athletic style of rugby. Summer also consists of more fun 7’s tournaments. Spring season consists of rugby Union Style 15’s which is 15 vs. 15 for 60 minutes. All games are typically played on Saturdays with 7’s tournaments lasting most of the day and 15’s matches starting in the middle of the day, time permitting. If you have any questions, please use the contact form on the front page and indicate which team you want your player to participate in!

The Academy practices are held at the Tennessee Rugby Park (8051 Oak Ridge Highway) on Tuesday and Thursday nights. Please reach out to the contact form to get specific times with your respective age group!
